This is an example of a world map that uses a bubble chart layered on top to show values in a table. It's highly stylized and is a great file to deconstruct if you want to try out building your own custom geo charts. Please note, it takes manual work to add new locations, you'll need to enter X/Y coordinates and update the geo map image. It's not too difficult but takes a while if you have 10+ locations.
